We kicked off this summer with Dublin Pride, where young people participated in the annual parade through town. We had a great day celebrating with young people!
This summer we took 42 young people on 10 overnight residentials from Waterford to Carlingford to take part in cycling, water sports, beach activities and more!
97 young people took part in trips, activities and fun days this summer including Baysports, Jumpzone, cycling, beach trips, go karting, rowing and hiking.
Some absolute masterpieces were created this summer thanks to Thomas & Hernan working with young people. They designed the art work and spray painted the walls.
This summer we said goodbye to Tom and hosted a final BBQ of the summer, we wish Tom all the best in his next job.
During the summer, we took our Young Mums group out to Loughrea for a spa day and hosted a picnic at Core for the group.
As part of a young leaders programme in partnership with Mercy Secondary, we took 4th & 5th years away to Carlingford for team building activities to prepare for being young people to support 1st years in their transition to secondary school in September. They took part in crystal maze, team building, archery, axe throwing and high ropes.
